Theirs quite a few artists on this site, obviously, and I, obviously, dont have time to go through and find the ones i like. I discoverd this site because I found out grateful dead shows are on it. Then I discovered a band called lotus (an electronic dance/ rock jam band), upon googling them I found out that they are on here too. Now I'm basically looking for recomendations for other superb music on this site, I know its here, theirs just a lot to sift through. Please though, I dont need to here any grateful dead cover bands or bands that are trying to sound like the grateful dead. Thanks a lot.

Here are ten shows I listen to a real lot from LMA

G Love at the village underground. To see if u like it check out “Long way down” or “Amazing” or "9-11." Vocals a little low, but what a set list!

Calexico at the China Theatre. Tempted to say, best show available on LMA, but don’t want to exaggerate. It is really that good. Not many shows available from Calexico but all are wonderful. I like this one best

Little Feat, Ulta sonic studios. Lots of other great LF, try apolitical blues or willin from this recording

Jack Johnson at KFOG studies. Short, great sound, from a radio broadcast. Just download the songs if you don’t like the interviews. Also search Jack Johnson FM to get his other radio stuff and you can put together a great CD.

Camper van Beethoven (CVB). More radio stuff to get you going. Check out loser, and o death. Hilarious banter.

Cracker, a CVB splinter group. Check out Dr Bernice.

Dispatch. Gotta love silent steeples. This is very early dispatch but I find it interesting.

Robert Walters; some cool jazzy things

Charlie Hunter. More Jazz; lots of great recordings of his are available here.

Matt Costa at El Cid. I love behind the moon.

Others you might try: David Gray, Michael Franti and Spearhead (I only like his acoustic stuff though), Tristan Prettyman, Matisyahu (Hassidic Regae/Rapper try the BB King’s show).
